Updates coming to SamTrans Bus School Routes in August Effective August 7, 2022, SamTrans will implement changes to many of its school-oriented routes. These route changes are included in the final Reimagine SamTrans plan, which was a nearly three-year effort to analyze the bus system with the goal of improving service and responding to changing ridership in San Mateo County. These upcoming school-oriented route changes will improve efficiency while maintaining service for many students who rely on SamTrans to get to school. In addition to routing changes, there will also be schedule adjustments to many routes to respond to changing school bell schedules for the 2022/23 school year. Check the website below after Aug. 7 for more information
New/additional Times Added to SamTrans Bus Schedule for 22-23 School Year SamTrans has released a new schedule for Route 61, which travels on Melendy Dr., Alameda de las Pulgas, and San Carlos Avenue, perfect for our 4th and 5th graders! Check it out now, and if your child hasn't taken the bus before, partner up with another family and give it a try before school starts. This is a safe & convenient alternative to carline congestion!
